New Music for Dance, Film, and the Concert Stage
Zachary Isaac Carrettin is equally comfortable playing the violin, the electric violin, the baroque and classic period violins, improvising, composing, and conducting orchestra. He has written extensively for the bay area's aerial-vertical dance troupe Project Bandaloop since 1998 and has toured with them in Europe, South America, the Middle East and throughout the United States.
"Carrettin presented an unusually delicate conception of the Fuga; his version of the opening Adagio was also striking, very free, as though improvised..."
